The original liqueur is among its greatest admirers, Caterina deā Medici who, once married to Henry II of OrlĆ©ans, made the product known also in France, where it was called āliquore deā Mediciā. The first transcript recipe was in 1743. The modern galbanum and davanna notes are embracing the pure saffron top notes and the exclusive ambery base notes.
