Shams Oud is an intriguing oud-optimizing fragrance that takes the wood to an upper level of smokiness. It is robust, pleasantly strong, and overwhelming. The oud wood leans towards a peppery leather aura that conjures up the golden heat of desert sand. Like the sun, the oud looms over all the elements from alpha to omega. The fragrance settles on an oozy balsamy amber base in which tolu balsam and styrax gum give a syrupy quality to the leathery base.
